Have you ever started a new phase of your life? Sure, but not so sure. Confident, but then not so much? Excited, both in a good way, but then, give me my blankie! You can do this. Are you crazy? Kinda scary!
Well, then, you can relate with my current status.
You must start a blog! Your stuff has blog written all over it! Have you ever thought about starting a blog? That is blog material,” y’all said to me. Remember?
Really? I didn’t know. No. Really?
All answers to recent questions.
The honest answer? I’m saying to myself… “what the heck is a blog?”
So, I went to Mr. Google. Here is what he said.

Huh?
So, if you are like me, you are still asking yourself…What the heck is a blog?
Well, ready or not, here is my version of a blog!
I plan to give you a weekly post/note/blog, about something, probably meaningless, sometimes sentimental, but always honest and from the heart!
I plan to give you something humorous and/or something that makes you feel great about yourself. You deserve to feel great, right?
I plan to post weekly on Wednesdays. Why Wednesday? Well, when I was in the working world, ‘hump day,” or Wednesday, was when I always needed a little extra boost. I hope I can give each and every one of you, that extra boost you need to get to yabbbbaaaaadabbbbaaaaadoooooooodayyyyyy!
I plan to keep it humorous. I know… life isn’t always humorous. But you know what? We can sure try to keep it that way. During those times, when its not so humorous, we can deal with it, together!
I plan to give you some new stuff and some old writings, I’m getting far too old to remember what I’ve posted and what I lost. So be patient with me if you have already read something I posted. Eventually, I’ll have to give you new stuff.
What do I expect from you? Well, my wish is that this can become “OUR” blog. What do I mean by that? Well, my wish is for you to read this blog consistently. Then, I’d ask you to ask yourself the following question ; “Do I agree or disagree with what he is saying?” Trust me when I say this. I have grown thick skin over the years. Please let me know your honest thoughts, even if you think I’m an idiot. Of course, if you like my stuff, I’d certainly like a pat on the back as well.
In general, I’d love to be your morning cup of coffee. Some mornings, that coffee hits the spot. Some, not so much. Some mornings, adjustments are made. Ahhhh…just the right touch. Some, well you get the idea.
My point? Please keep the comments coming, both good and bad. That is the only way I can get better as a writer and make ‘Our” blog better!
Share this blog with your friends! No, I mean it. Share, share, share! Let’s make this a HUGE family reunion. After all, aren’t we all in this together?
Thanks for joining me on this journey! Traveling with me means more than you can ever imagine.!
Here we go.
Kinda scary, right? Nah.
WE CAN DO THIS!!!
Comments please.

This is awesome Ron! Very excited to be included in Promise Land memories. It’s our roots and they grow deep! I was there from 1961 to 1979. I have been back to visit many times. But nothing compares to living there. The lucky ones I think are the ones who stayed!

I always enjoy you stories! The one about the black pot is my favorite so far. Looking forward to more. Most definitely will share with my friends. Tell Suzan hello for me. You sure picked a good one in Suzan. We just love her. She’s the kind of person that when you meet her, you feel like she has been your friend for years❤️!
